Still a problem, my time slider wont work. I've updated to WMP 11, as suggested in the forum, but slider still doesn't work. Any suggestion ... ?

Don't add the 0 or 1 at the end of the line as that causes freeice to remove the top task bar which messes up fullscreen. Embeded is way to smal to use, but that's a small annoyance to get the full screen gps.

Thanks for the tip. I tried it out on my way home from work, but it didn't make a difference. I think the issue has to do with minimizing freeice and then iG. If I open iG by itself and maximize it then close it things seem to work fine next time freeice opens it.

Found another small quirk. The info button on the right side doesn't seem to display what's in the id3 tag. I have spent a good amount of time over the years making sure I have all my mp3s tagged (id3v1 and v2 tags), but I've always used the same program (mp3tag). Is there some other tag that I'm not aware of, or does the info button not work correctly?

How about a way to add buttons and embed several programs?

I'd like to run Mitchjs hdradio pcr program (www.rush2112.net) and IG4 at the sme time.

Possible or impossible?

Also, I'm not sure I understand the issue with the long load and shutdown times. WMP 11 keeps a library of songs you have added and doesn't take very long to load at all. Does i has something to do with the way FI calls wmp?

Hi m8, yeah this should be possible.. I can add something like this, bit of coding but I've done it before.

dont expect it straightaway mind.. I want to sort out pictures and playlists before 1.0 release.

I know its cheeky, but when on visualisation, when the track changes, the vis. switches back to small screen with the tracks, etc. displayed, Is there any way to set vis. to full screen, and have it that way till you switch it off again?

Any idea when 1.0 may be ready?

FI 0.9 has pretty much pushed RR right off my drive! (haven't opened RR since FI 0.9came out)

RR just seems so................well...................overdone and "heavy" now.............

hi m8, you could just try embedding it on the gps button, just add the name/path in the fi.ini (gps=etc...) If it works then it would only take me 2 mins to add a button for you

That would be greatly appreciated, I'll give it a try right now. But maybe a more useful addition would be an "open" button on the skin that can be defined by users in the ini file. Just a thought.

Yup, FreeICEice calls it up and it shows in the window. Size is a little off (prog is smaller than the skin window), I'll need to pause the mp3 first, and it has a little trouble staying "on top", during the skin button pushes, but it's useable.
Of note:
I'm trying on the laptop right now and there's no tuner unit attached. The prog keeps trying to find the unit so that may be causing some of the odd behaviour. I'll try it in the car tomorrow and see what happens.

A skin and a proper dll would be best though. Wish I could work with flash, looks like I've got to learn. I just can't give up FI now, it's just too nice........[/quote]
