Set an indicator if the phone is connected or not?

really all i need to know!

im trying to execute a command in ride runner whenever my phone connects....

so far i have been looking at the setlabel command and trying to split the string but unfortunately ride runner is limited in that way.

"SETLABEL;CUSTOMFREEFONE;OFF|OFF@0@0@"

i hope someone can help me with this as it is the last part of my project!!!

thx for any help or suggestions.
