Partial success with Nokia N70
Hi,

first of all, thanks for great app. I'm trying to get it to work with my Nokia N70 and I got it working to some extent, but do have problems.

Basic, callout, receive/end incoming call works, but I get no caller id displayed. Also I cannot download from Sim card - although it says it's doing something...

But anyway it will be best to tackle one problem after another.

I'm attaching debug.log for a start and there seems to be few ERROR response from phone and maybe this is a good start for fixing things :
1. Incoming call with immediate hangup - no caller id ?

I dont think the n70 supports the phone book from AT commands. You can use the default txt one by altering the file. As for caller ID, its been that long to be honest since I played with FF that I'm unsure and would really need a N70 phone to have a play with to see if I could get it working.

Yes, i'm completely agree with you. The greater part of symbian mobile phones doesn't support the standard AT commands. (I learned this, when i tryed to sync my N70 with evolution, under linux).

For Developers:
Theorically there are 2 ways to sync or access objects on a symbian device:
- using SyncML,
- installing an applet on the phone.

However, SyncML is probably the best solution because is an open standard (with a lot of example code in Internet) and because several major companies already offers a native support in their devices.
